We use health data to provide caregiver visibility, daily summaries, wellness context, and related Companio features.
We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or data mining. We do not sell HealthKit data.
You can control Apple Health and HealthKit permissions through device settings. If permissions are removed, Companio may no longer display or update those health signals.
Health information in Companio is for supportive family awareness. Companio is not a medical device, emergency response service, or substitute for professional care.
4. Calls, transcripts, and summaries
Companio provides voice-based conversations. To make these features work, we may process call audio, transcripts, call metadata, AI-generated summaries, and caregiver notes.
Where legally required, we will ask for consent before recording or transcribing calls. You are responsible for using Companio only where you have the right and consent to do so.
Summaries are generated to help caregivers understand the day in plain language. They may be incomplete or inaccurate. Caregivers should use judgment and follow up directly when something matters.
